Best bulb for basking light? What is this "Mazuri" I keep hearing about?(What's it made of) And is it really that good? Would bathroom tile (non-toxic) be O.K. for the bottom of the tank? (Wouldn't glue it down) Any suggestions for vitamins for (my soon to be) baby RES? That's all I can think of right now Hope that's not to much! Oh Bluewater: Spartacus is the cutest, you must be a good dad! Thanks for any help!

Try www.petsmart.com for whatever light is best for you and to find out about the different types of mazuri food you can get. A non tonic tile would be ok, just make sure its cleaned well before you put it into the tank. Put a calcium block in with your res. I hope that helps.

[shadow=blue,left,300]1) In my opinion of basking lights: For a UVB producing bulb, I go with the Repsitun 5.0. It works well for me. I still gotta try the Active UVbulbs though, but so far, i'm very happy with the Reptisun 5.0. Now, for just the "heat" bulbs, I like using Zoomed's Basking Spot Heatbulbs, 50Ws in my tank. I have it about 4-5 inches away from the basking site, and it keeps the temperature in the 80's. 2) Mazuri is an aquatic turtle food, or even tortoise food, that seems to be getting popular by the minute. Not sure of the exact ingredients, but it contains a good variety of stuff. I like using Reptomin, but I think I'll buy a pound of this Mazuri Turtle Food from ATP and give it a try. 3) I have no idea about tiles at all. 4) For vitamin supplements, I don't use any of them, but there are some that you sprinkle on live food like crickets, and it works well. It wouldn't hurt on using vitamin supplements, and I think I'll start giving them some, but I normally don't use any of them. Like TTT mentioned, I do use cuttlebone as an extra source of calcium for the aquatics. ;D[/shadow]
