I have a quick question for you guys. We just recently bought a 250w ebo-jager heater for our 115g habitat and we were wondering if the status light turning off was normal. Any answers will be appreciated.

umm no, ebo-jager heaters are water heaters not heat lamps. I was asking if the light on the water heater should turn off. Because mine will turn on and off during the day in about 30 min increments.

most good water heaters, like urs, have a light that goes on when the water is being heated. when the water reaches the set temp, the light goes off for a bit, bc the water isnt being heated. since the heater isnt heating, the water temp goes down. the heater senses that, and starts to heat the water again(an the light will come on again). and when the water cools down, the cycle is repeated, n repeated, bla bla bla ;D hope that helps
