Hi, Im wondering are UVB lights neccary because my funds are low and im jus curious if they are really essential.Thanks

It is definitely necessary unless you take your turtle outside about an hour a day, but most people dont have the time for that.

I am sorry to say this but if you don't have the funds to buy your turtles a UV light then you shouldn't have a turtle. You can't afford it. Though a light fixture at the hardware store costs about $8 and the light, if you want a cheap one, costs about $10. So your looking at $18 or a bit more dollars that you say you can't spend.
Turtles are not cheap animals. I think that I mentioned this before. I spent a couple thousand on my guys already in the past couple years.
