Do any of you like to cook? My mother caters every month or so, and I help her. I also like to bake and make soups. ;D Feel free to post favorite recipes here. Here's my favorite cookie recipe: CHOCOLATE CHIP DREAM COOKIES 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter 2 eggs 1 tsp almond flavoring 3 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp baking soda 2 1/2 cups flour 1 package (16 oz) chocolate chips Nuts (optional) ------ Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and almond flavoring. Mix well, add cinnamon, salt and soda. Add flour gradually, batter should be thick. Add chocolate chips, and nuts if desired. Using teaspoons, drop cookies onto tinfoil-lined cookie sheets. Bake for 8-12 minutes at 350 degrees F. This is a variation of the classic chocolate chip recipe. There is no vanilla in it, and it has extra cinnamon. They are best when made with real butter, because they stay chewy and moist. I make these in double batches for my dad's lunches, but they end up disappearing between my two sisters (9 and 14) in a few days. ::grins::

IamtheWalrus, Hey I cook all the time, my grandmother was a pastry chef. I almost went to school to become a chef, but turned down the invitation to attend and went into the biology field instead. I'll post some of my stuff when I write it all down soon. I also make my own turtle food!
