what do you guys think the best branch of the military is?
i say its the Marines because thier training is the hardest and beause the average Marine can become a navy seal with no problem because basic training in the marines is harder than navy seal training easily.
and because they are brutal but the other armed forces are cool too.

I think they are all cool because they all protect our country/freedom. But if I had to chose one I'd probably say Army because the Rangers/delta force are Army's special forces. I noticed you have a 100 gallon tank. Do you have any pics? I have 110 gallon tank with only one res in it.

the army rangers huh. yeah theyre pretty good too. my brother who is in the marines says ranger training is really hard too but marine boot camp is hardest.

also my brother is based with the army too and he says he got a tour of the army's area and he said that it was so sloppy he almost through up but then he saw the green beret's rooms and they were spik and span. i think the marines really stress being clean. and dont get me wrong i appreciate the army very much but the marines are like a special force in themsleves because they are trained harder than any other type of training in the world and that is a true fact you can look up. but the green beret and rangers are cool too.

Ya the marines are defiently the hardest and most strict armed force in the U.S. But I'm sure the rangers train much harder cause the rangers are a special force. In the marines the special forces are the force recon and they probably train even harder than the rangers/green berrets. But actually some of the more elite forces, when it comes to hand to hand combat, are foreign. My co-worker who was a marine said that when he was at south korea he got to see a few of the S. Korean armed forces training. He said that they really kicked ass. Just to be in the armed forces you would have to have some type of martial art background.
As for the most elite in the world....I read in blackbelt magazine that israel has the most elite special force in the world. Their hand to hand combat methods are truly state of the art....they combine different fighting styles.
as for your pics....you could send me the pics of your tank through e-mail. I already sent you an e-mail. Your pic of the albino res was really cool. You sure got some talent. debo1998@hotmail.com

yes the Israili army is very kick ass. my brother says that if he had to fight an israili he doesnt know what would happen. as for the rangers being tougher than the marines that is b.s. you would know if you went to parris island. dont get me wrong the rangers are bad ass but no one is trained as well as the marines or the israili army. a good movie to see is Full Metal Jacket its about marine bootcamp but the part where the guy shoots himself is total bull. there is no way that he could sneak in live rounds. and strategicaly the marines are meant to take new land because they are CRAZY! and the army holds the land that the marines take.

Ok I see you are a true marine fan. But think about this. Rangers are special forces. They send those guys into battle before the marines or any other military force besides other special forces like green berrets, force recon, and delts force. They also send them to accomplish special tasks. Don't get me wrong...I'm no expert....but I find it hard to believe the U.S. government will train the marines harder than the rangers who are an elite team (hence the term special forces). I beli :)eve the marines are definetely the hardest trained out of the army, air force, and navy. But the special forces are always gonna be trained harder so they'll be prepared for those secret missions.

i know thats what i used to think to before i went to parris island, and it seems logical too, but the marines can join any special force like the rangers or the navy seals, green beret without even going through the training first. now why would they do that if they arent trained harder or at least just as hard. and as for being a marine fan im not its just that they are the badest ass force and i respect that. even my brothers friend dave (who is in the army) said army training is nothing compared to marine training. but trust me the marines are trained either harder or just as hard as any special force. the marines motto is that they dont have a special force because they are one. and thier first purpose in the 1700's was to be guards for important pesonel. you ever notice that the dude who guards the president is a marine

Um the branch I like the best is the USAF Doesnt seem like youd care but, I want to, after high school of course... Join the USAF and become a fighter pilot. If that doesnt work out or something happens... Id like to become a sniper. I dont know what branch thatd be in but it seems like something Id want to do. Well anyways, just thought Id put my 2 cents in on what I like. -Stephen

I Know that the hardest military branch is the united states navy seals, For EX , one obstacle you have to do is go into a 10 ft pool with a tangeled hose an air tank with all ur gear wrapped around it and then u fix up underwater, with ur feet tied together and get to the surface with all of your gear the way it shud be , another part of the training is that you have to swim in place , holding bricks in Freezing water for a couple of hours and then you head to an obstacle course beat that lol , PS:I plan to join the marines for 4 years b4 I join the seals when im 17 or 18 , Ive alredy started taining by doing 100 sit ups , 30 reps with 30 lbs , 50 push ups every other day and I can alredy shoot a soda can at 200 yards to start my sniper training .

I think they are all very well trained to do what they do. And I am very upset that Butch (Bush) feels they are here for his little games. And that some of them have away from home for so long. I deeply respect all branches of the US Military
