Hi, I need to know the type/ manufacurer of heater I should use for a 30-40 gallon tank. It will hold 1 - 5" RES. 150watt? 100? I was thinking fully submersible.. I am setting this up right now and i am using a fluval 404 filter.
Please let me know.... I am hoping to purchase everything in the next week or so . Thanks

You should get a fully submersible water heater. A 150 will do the job for you. On the side of this formun is links to the information sections and she has a area for equipment for information on all equipment. Here is the link www.gordasturtletank.com/files/tanks.htmShe has some good information there

I have a 30 gallon aquarium and I run a 100 watt fully sub heater that works great but at first I had problems but since I have altered the filter to circulate the water it keeps the temp perfect
