Hello,
My brother just got a southern painted turtle from a lake close to my house. The lake it was in was dirty, with mud and plants all around it and on the bottom of it. So my brother cought one, took it home and put it in a 10 gallon tank. It was about as a round doorknob. Anyway, he put it in the 10 gallon with a ton of sand and a water dish that had just enough room for the turtle to lay in. he put in a little of lake water in the dist but a ton of tap water. Is this Ok? I think its not enough mud and water but will it adjust od suffer?
Thanks
